A 2.5-hour reset for mind, body, and self. No matter what stage of motherhood you are in, diapers or school drop offs.
Motherhood changes you, physically, emotionally, and psychologically.
Somewhere in the feeding, the settling, and the endless mental load, it’s easy to feel disconnected from yourself.
Grounded Mama is a gentle, nurturing event designed to help you come back to your body, reconnect with who you are becoming, and feel supported alongside other women walking a similar path.
This is not about “bouncing back.”
It’s about grounding into who you are now.

Trauma Informed Yoga Class
A slow, supportive practice focused on reconnecting with your body in a safe and compassionate way. You’ll be guided to move gently, notice sensations, and honour where your body is at, without pressure or expectation. No yoga experience necessary, just an open mind.

Break
Nourishing snacks, casual chats, and a moment to just be (and yes… time for the bathroom in peace)

Psychology-Guided Workshop + Group Connection (60 mins)
Led from a psychologist’s perspective, this interactive session will explore:
Self-compassion in motherhood
The emotional load and identity shifts of matrescence
Letting go of perfection and “shoulds”
Practical tools to regulate your nervous system
Space for reflection, sharing, and feeling seen

Yin & Pins with Women’s Health Acupuncturist Sarah Fewtrell
Sink into deep rest with a combination of:
Yin-style stillness
Gentle acupuncture to support nervous system regulation and postpartum recovery
Guided meditation and music to promote calm and integration

Closing Ritual + Goodie Bags
We’ll close the space intentionally, so you leave feeling softer, grounded, and resourced. Plus a curated goodie bag to support you beyond the session.

Mirinda Smith
Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher & Psychologist Mirinda is a psychologist, yoga teacher, and twin mum to toddlers, with a deep passion for supporting women through every stage of motherhood, from the 1am, 3am, 5am wake-ups to school drop-offs and lunchboxes.
Her background in yoga shapes her holistic approach, grounded in a strong understanding of the mind–body connection.
This event has been created from a place of genuine care, offering a supportive space for women to feel seen, connected, and nurtured.
Sarah Fewtrell
Women's Health AcupuncturistSarah is an AHPRA-registered acupuncturist and Gold Coast local, specialising in women’s health across all life stages.
Her personal journey with endometriosis, conception, and motherhood shapes her compassionate, deeply supportive approach to care.
She offers gentle, tailored treatments blending traditional Chinese medicine with evidence-based practice to help women feel grounded and supported.
Spaces are limited to preserve intimacy, safety and genuine connection.
